17th Virginia Infantry, Co. D, Fairfax Rifles
The site features a family-oriented Northern Va. living history group formed to honor the men of the infantry unit raised in historic Fairfax Court House, Va. The civilians represent town folk, including a telegrapher. The site includes the reenactors, history and biographical data of the 1860s unit as well as photographs of several--most of which have never appeared elsewhere.

I would like to join your Unit as a Civillian Lady and after speaking with Gene Lastfogel, am requesting a membership form. I have been a reenactor for 8 years and love my southern roots. I have ridden Cavalry with the 18th VA and also been a northern lady with the 3rd, MD. Co. B. as well as a southern lady with the 7th LA. Co. B. My e-mail is LeahMyers58@yahoo.com. Thank you for your consideration.
